1 Who we are

The data controller is Stère Direct SARL, 14 Rue Renouillat, 10130 Saint-Phal, France, email contact@stere-direct.com. This policy explains how we process personal data of visitors and customers of stere-direct.com, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and, for UK residents, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2 Data we collect

Order data (name, delivery and billing address, email, telephone, products ordered), payment data (processed by our payment provider; we never hold your full card number), customer service correspondence, and browsing data (see our cookie policy).

3 Why and on what basis

To process and deliver your orders and manage returns and warranties (performance of a contract); to answer your requests (legitimate interest); to send you marketing about similar products, from which you can opt out at any time (legitimate interest or consent); to comply with legal obligations (accounting, fraud prevention).

4 Recipients and transfers

Your data is shared only with the service providers needed to fulfil your order: payment provider, carriers, hosting and IT providers, all bound by confidentiality. Data is processed in the European Union; transfers to the United Kingdom rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision.

5 Retention

Order and invoice data: 10 years (accounting obligations). Customer account and marketing data: 3 years after your last contact. Cookies: 13 months at most.

6 Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Write to contact@stere-direct.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) in the UK or with the CNIL (cnil.fr) in France.

7 Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit, restricted access, secure payment) to protect your data.
