noble hardwood mix

Our logs combine oak, hornbeam, beech and ash. A balanced mix that brings together calorific power, slow combustion and beautiful embers. Each wood species contributes its own qualities for consistent and comfortable heating.
You get a clear flame, little smoke and a clean-running appliance. Ideal for daily use as well as Sunday evening fires.
Our logs spend several days in a dryer at 80°C to achieve a moisture content below 20%. Result: quick ignition, maximum efficiency and fewer fine particles released into the atmosphere.
Unlike air-dried firewood, quality remains consistent throughout the year, regardless of weather conditions.
Our wood comes from French forests located in Gard and the Cévennes, rich in noble hardwoods. We work directly with local forest owners, respecting regeneration cycles.
A short supply chain that guarantees traceability and supports the French forestry economy.
Estimate based on daily use of 4 to 6 hours per day during winter.

Since I've been using this wood, I no longer need to clean the wood stove glass every week. Clean combustion, very little soot, heat distributes well. The 80°C kiln-drying really makes a difference day to day.
Receipt perfect, pallet delivered in good condition and well wrapped. The logs are uniform in size, cut cleanly. No rotten or poorly dried wood in the batch. Honestly, that's a change from approximate deliveries.
Really kiln-dried firewood with no moisture detected. My stove heats better than with my neighbour's air-dried wood. The 33 cm logs fit perfectly in my firebox. Very pleased with this first purchase.
Pallet dropped exactly where requested, friendly driver. Kiln-dried firewood, ready to burn on arrival. 33 cm format perfect for my fireplace insert. Hard to find better in French short supply chains these days.
A huge difference compared to timber from the local forester. The logs are truly dry, they crackle nicely, no moisture hiss. The moisture content below 20% isn't marketing—it's genuine.
Hornbeam and oak produce beautiful embers that last all night. Little ash, stove glass stays clean. You can tell that kiln-drying makes all the difference compared to standard firewood.
Pleased to know the firewood comes from Gard and the Cévennes, not from the other side of Europe. Impeccable quality, consistent logs, and we're supporting a family operation. It makes all the difference when buying.
Very high quality wood, impeccable drying. Small downside: a few logs a bit large that need to be split for lighting. Otherwise clean combustion and good calorific value in my open fireplace.
I use this wood as my primary heating in my 120 m² home. Excellent output, chimney stays clean after several weeks. The 33 cm format is ideal for my wood stove.
Used in an open fireplace, these logs produce beautiful flames and heat the room well. Combustion is fairly quick, but that's normal in an open hearth. The hardwood mix is genuinely quality.
The blend of oak, hornbeam, beech and ash is perfect. Beautiful and steady flame, constant heat throughout the evening. My fireplace insert consumes less than before. I'll definitely place another order before next winter.
The 33 cm format is the most versatile standard. It adapts to the vast majority of wood stoves, fireplace inserts and fireplaces on the market, whilst offering balanced combustion and easy handling.
The oak, hornbeam, beech and ash blend delivers excellent output, around 4 kWh/kg. These hardwoods rank amongst the finest species for effective and long-lasting heating.
Yes. With a moisture content below 20%, achieved by kiln drying at 80°C, the logs ignite immediately and burn without fouling your heating system.
Depending on your usage and home size, a pallet typically covers 6 weeks to 6 months of heating. Daily intensive use obviously consumes more than the occasional fire.
Even when dry, store your logs away from rain, under a ventilated canopy or in a log store. Avoid direct contact with the ground to preserve their combustion quality.
Absolutely. The low moisture content and quality of the blend make it ideal fuel for modern high-efficiency appliances, including dual-combustion wood stoves.
Our logs come from family forests in Gard and the Cévennes, managed in partnership with local forest owners in line with natural regeneration cycles.
